Synopsis:
The film is about Syria in the early 1950’s. (Salamah, Mustafa, Hussein, Yousif…), such names represent opposition to the dictatorship regime, and look to a future when a new society could be built on social justice. The main character gets acquainted with these persons when he is imprisoned in a political prison as a result of similarity in names. So, he finds himself in a different situation from what he used to dream and think of. From a small world of narrow-mindedness to a world of thoughts and strife. He is passing experiencing a hard intellectual struggle.
