Synopsis:
A story about love, friendship and the fine time of radio in remote countryside. A love affair between a woman and a young man: Aziza and Jamal. A friendship between Jamal and a disabled man (Salim) who runs away from his parents oppression to the house of (Abou Jamal) who accepts him as a son. A house of generosity although it owner is poor. He used to receive poor peasants to listen to their favourite radio programs, or to know something about the world and their own country which army is waging a war of attrition on the frontier far away from their village. Although the distance is long, a heavy sadness overshadows the houses of these people . The homeland is calling it sons to defend it wherever they are. Jamal goes to war. Will Jamal be able to hear the song which his secret beloved one (Aziza) had presented in the famous radio program (Listeners’ Choice)?
