Born in Deir Ezzor in 1949, Maher Kaddo studied filmmaking in the Academy of Art, Film and Theater in Bucharest and graduated in 1978.
He made a short film titled "The Tent".
His second feature after "Neighing of Directions" is titled "Damascus, Smile of Sadness".
At present he is working on his thread film " GATES OF HEAVEN " in cooperation the National Film Organization.
