Born in Hama in 1950.
Graduate of Cinema Institute in Kiev, 1976.
During his study he realized a film called (When the Southern Winds Blow).
After graduation, he realized for the General Cinema Organization a documentary called (The Witness) which won the Silver Damascene Sword Award in 5th Damascus Film Festival.
He also won the Silver Award of 7th Damascus Film Festival for his feature film (The Moss) 1991.
And the Silver Award of 10th Damascus Film Festival for his feature film (The Wandering).
He participated in 11th Damascus Film Festival in the documentary (Whispers) which dealt with the plastic art in Syria.
2008 Directed (Hasiba ) novel by Syrian novelist "Khairy AL-Zahabi".
