One of the pioneers of the cinema movement in Syria. He studied cinematography in France. First he realized some documentary films , of which we mention: (The Teacher), (A Damascene Wedding) and (Bazaars and Inns) among others. He also realized two feature films, one produced by General Cinema Organization (The Knife) 1972 and another by the private sector (Forbidden Love )1977. He supervised the army studio since its start. He managed the affairs of cinematic production in General Cinema Organization for some period of time. He died in 2001.
