Poshko Vochinich

A Yugoslavian director.
In 1960, he cooperated with Syrian Ministry of Culture and directed the first short film produced by the Ministry.
He realized a number of other short films.
The General Cinema Organization called him to direct (The Lorry Driver) the first Syrian feature film produced by the Cinematic Public Sector in Syria.
He was assisted by some local assistants so that to gain some practical experience in the field of cinema.
This film is considered as a distinguished mark on the road of a young cinema looking for realizing a new equation.
