Bilal Al-Sabouni

Born in Damascus in 1944.
Graduated from Cinema Institute in Cairo in 1970.
In the early 1970’s, he worked in the General Cinema Organization and realized a set of documentary and feature films.
He also realized some guidance films in favour of Saudi Ministry of Health.
He taught cinema in the Union of Arab Radios for some time.
His first feature film (The Fifth Castle) won the silver award in Damascus Film Festival in 1979.
